Hi! My name is Katelyn Salvato, and I am so excited to share some of my work with you! I am a dancer based out of New York, currently living on Long Island. For as long as I can remember, dance has been the most important thing in my life, and I was lucky to fall in love with it at such a young age! I have been training for 20 years and teaching locally for 8 in various styles.

Growing up a short train ride from NYC, I was exposed to theatre early on and have always been enthralled by the theatre world. My love of the performing arts led me to Providence College, where I studied Theatre and Dance.

There, I fell in love with all aspects of theatre, from performing, to technical design, and most importantly, choreography. When choreographing for Dance Company and the theatre department’s musicals, I felt undeniably fulfilled, and I knew that this is what I was meant to do.

Post-grad, I began my journey into the professional performing world. Some of my recent projects include choreographing A Chorus Line at Sunrise Theatre on Long Island, and choreographing and performing in three summer stock seasons at Festival 56 in Princeton, IL.

When I'm not dancing, you can find me paddleboarding, crafting, and cuddling my dog, Luna!
